Jocelyn Papciak is Vice President of Business Operations & Event for the Los Angeles Sports Council (LASC) and the Southern California Committee for the Olympic Games (SCCOG). Both are not-for-profit organizations that serve the greater Los Angeles Community.
Jocelyn works closely with the organizations’ CEO, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors to develop and implement plans for the operational processes and initiatives to accommodate and align with the organizations’ missions, values, and growth objectives.
She leads the development, communication, implementation, and day-to-day management of internal and external strategies, processes, and operations related to event programming accounting and finance, human resources, and administration. Jocelyn also supports organizational business development initiatives that contribute to the visibility and growth of events and programs.
In 2020, Jocelyn successfully transitioned LASC & SCCOG from an affiliate of the LA Chamber of Commerce to independent functioning organizations implementing new internal processes and increasing operational efficiency. Jocelyn also led the planning and execution of the 2020 LA Sports Awards, resulting in the most financial success since the event’s inception.
Prior to joining the LASC, Jocelyn spent six years with AEG working in business development and account management for the LA Galaxy and the STAPLES Center. At the STAPLES Center, Jocelyn managed $15M+ in annual revenue across 150 premium key accounts and global partnerships and generated an annual average of $2.3M in new business COI.
Jocelyn graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude in Business Management from Towson University (MD). She was a four- year starter on the school’s D1 soccer team and was named scholar athlete of the year in 2012.
