About Santa Ana Stadium
Home of the Santa Ana College Dons, the stadium - and Eddie West Field inside - holds 9,000 spectators. The field is named for longtime Orange County Register Eddie West, a tireless supporter of Santa Ana College athletics. The facility was designed by Robert Michael Hernandez.
There is seating for 9,000 with 7,000 contoured aluminum bench seats and 2,000 seats with fixed chairbacks on the west side. The field is natural grass.
•Location and parking:
The facility is located near the intersection of Civic Center Drive and Flower Street in downtown Santa Ana. It can be accessed from the Golden State (5) Freeway (Santa Ana Boulevard exit) or the Garden Grove (22) Freeway (Bristol Street exit).
Santa Ana Stadium is managed by the Santa Ana Recreation and Community Services Department. Inquiries about facility use should be directed to general manager Art Sariana at (714) 647-3323.
The natural grass field measures 210 by 400 feet and is surrounded by 9,000 seats. There is lighting for night play from six towers with metal-halide lights.
There are three locker rooms, including home and visitor rooms of 1,000 square feet and an officials' locker room of 250 square feet. There is a press box at the top of the west grandstand (capacity 25).
Spectator amenities include a multi-level structure and there is plenty of street parking close by, four ticket booths (each with two windows) and three permanent concession stands. There is an end zone scoreboard.
