About Clear Channel STADIUM

Home of the Class A Lancaster Jethawks baseball club of the California League, "The Hangar" is a popular site for minor league baseball and the first minor league ballpark in Los Angeles County since the late 1950s, when Wrigley Field and Gilmore Field hosted Triple-A games prior to the re- location of the Dodgers major league franchise.

It was built by the City of Lancaster at a cost of $14.3 million beginning in 1995 when the Class A team in Riverside decided to relocate. It opened to a standing-room-only crowd of 6,603 on April 16, 1996, as the Jethawks defeated the Visalia Oaks, 7-3. The Jethawks are part of the Arizona Diamondbacks farm system
