With a 4-3 upset victory over top-seeded Virginia, the Trojans won their third consecutive NCAA Men's Tennis Championship, at Stanford (May 24).
Trojans Rout Bruins to Cap 10-2 Season
Matt Barkley's 6 touchdown passes led the Trojans to a 50-0 victory over cross-town rival UCLA as the Trojans ended their football season with 10 wins, a #5 ranking in the AP poll and a first place finish in the Pac-12 Southern Division (November 26).
Trojans Win 4th Straight National Water Polo Title
The USC men's water polo team made history by winning its fourth consecutive NCAA Championship. By defeating the rival UCLA Bruins 7-4 in the championship game, USC became the first team ever to win four straight titles, at Berkeley (December 4).
