Clippers Beat Sacramento in Double OT
The Clippers came from 17 points behind to pull out a 116-109 double-overtime win over the Sacramento Kings. Al Thornton tied the game in regulation with 15.9 seconds remaining and then led the team to victory by scoring 13 of his 27 points in the two overtimes, at Staples Center (March 5). |

Thornton Ties Rookie Record
Forward Al Thornton exploded for 39 points (20 in the fourth quarter), tying a franchise rookie record for points in a game and the most points scored in a game by an NBA rookie in 2007-08, as the Clippers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 110-97 at Staples Center. Thornton connected on 13 of 23 field goals and 10 of 12 free throws and later was named to the 2007-08 NBA All-Rookie First Team (March 29). |

WINNING MOMENT
Clippers Sign Baron Davis
The Clippers signed free agent guard and Los Angeles native Baron Davis to a multi-year contract. The former Crossroads High School and UCLA star made a triumphant return to L.A. with the Clippers as a two-time NBA All-Star (July 10). |
