Razov scores in six straight games
Forward Ante Razov went on a scoring tear, sparking Chivas USA with a goal in each of six straight matches. In a streak spanning both MLS and SuperLiga competition, his goals came against the New York Red Bulls, San Jose Earthquakes, LA Galaxy, Pachuca CF, Santos Laguna and the New England Revolution (June 28 – July 20).

Chivas USA defeats Mexican champion in SuperLiga
With a 73rd-minute header from forward Ante Razov, Chivas USA defeated reigning Mexican champion Santos Laguna 1-0 in front of a raucous crowd at The Home Depot Center. It was the club’s first appearance in official international competition (July 16).
Chivas USA qualifies for MLS playoffs for third straight year
In just its fourth year in Major League Soccer, Chivas USA made it three in a row by qualifying for the MLS playoffs for the third consecutive season, following a gutsy 1-0 road win at the San Jose Earthquakes on a 7th-minute goal by rookie forward Justin Braun (October 11).
