Record Crowd Sees Chivas USA Tie New England
In front of 92,650, the largest crowd ever to see a regular season Major League Soccer game, Chivas USA and the New England Revolution played to a 1-1 draw as part of a doubleheader with FC Barcelona and CD Guadalajara, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (August 6).
First Playoff Game in Team History
Chivas USA won their first-ever playoff game 2-1, defeating the Houston Dynamo at the Home Depot Center. Goalie Brad Guzan saved a late penalty kick to preserve the victory (October 22).
