HOLDSCLAW PASSES 3000-POINT MILESTONE
Los Angeles Sparks All-Star Forward Chamique Holdsclaw scores her 3,000th career point on a reverse lay-up. This play occurred on May 26 on the Sparks home court at STAPLES Center against her former team, the Washington Mystics. Holdsclaw is currently ranked fifth in WNBA Career Points with 3,521; teammate Lisa Leslie is the WNBA’s All-Time Leader with 4, 732. |
LESLIE BLOCKS HER 600TH SHOT
Sparks veteran Center and 2004 WNBA MVP Lisa Leslie records her 600th blocked shot against Western Conference rival, and 2004 WNBA Champions, Seattle Storm on June 24th. She is currently ranked second in WNBA history for career blocks behind Connecticut Sun Center Margo Dydek. |
