About Citrus Stadium |
 |
 |
 |
 |
One of the state's premier Community College facilities, upgraded in 1997,
offers 10,000 seats for both football and track, although as many as 12,000
have squeezed in for CIF-Southern Section playoff games. The bowl-shaped
stadium has a natural-grass field and an all-weather, nine-lane track. It
has been a popular site for pre-Rose Bowl game practices for the Pac-10 or
Big Ten conference representative thanks to the extensive support
facilities, including two weight rooms, an excellent training room and a
nearby aquatics center with a heated pool. It was also the site for the
California State High School Track & Field Championships in 1998.
