About the Anaheim Convention Center |
 |
 |
 |
 |
Now one of the largest and most sophisticated convention facilities on the
West Coast, the Anaheim Convention Center opened in 1967 offering the
Anaheim Arena (listed under arenas) and what is now Hall A, a 150,000
sq.ft. exhibition facility.
After expansions in 1982, 1990, 1993 and 2000, the facility now offers
815,000 sq.ft. of quality exhibition space in four main exhibition halls,
plus 130,000 additional square feet of meeting and ballroom space, plus the
Anaheim Arena. The facility provided day-village and warm-up and training
space in 1984 for the Olympic wrestling competition taking place in the
Arena and can be configured to accommodate numerous sporting events, using
portable bleachers or folding chairs.
Continuously busy, the facility hosts more than 1,300 events annually.
