UCLA Visits Utah in Key Pac-12 Tilt

UCLA (7-3, 4-3) will travel to Salt Lake City to meet #18 Utah (8-2, 5-2) on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

UCLA leads the series with Utah by 10-3 overall, with the two teams splitting the four contests since Utah joined the conference. The past three meetings have been decided by a total of 16 points.

The Utes registered a 30-28 win last season in the Rose Bowl (Oct. 4).

The Bruins have seen snow fall on each of their past two trips to Salt Lake City. In the last visit (Oct. 3, 2014), UCLA came away with a 34-27 win. Hundley ran for a score, threw for a score and caught a touchdown pass from Fuller.

The Bruins defense picked off six Utah passes. In the prior trip, the Bruins came up on the short end of a 31-6 decision (Nov. 12, 2011). The Utes outscored UCLA 24-3 in the second half of that game which was the first time a Bruin team had played in the snow since a 1964 contest at Syracuse.

After Utah, the Bruins get ready for a showdown with USC on Nov. 28 at the Coliseum, which could decide the winner of the Pac-12 South division.

The Los Angeles Sports Council is a non-profit civic organization whose primary purpose is to promote economic development through sports in the Los Angeles/Orange County area.

On behalf of the community, the Sports Council bids against other cities for the right to host major sporting events, often staging or helping to stage events after successful bids.

Founded in 1988, the Sports Council's efforts represent more than $1 billion in overall economic impact for the region and range from NCAA Championships to the Super Bowl, and from the U.S Olympic Trials to the World Cup.

The Council also works in support of each of the area's established sports teams and facilities.
